About the Artist: Teddy Jakamarra Gibson was born in the late 60's in Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community located 290km north-west of Alice Springs in the NT of Australia. Teddy has been painting with Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, and Aboriginal owned and governed art centre located in Yuendumu since 2006. When Teddy is not painting he like to go hunting with his family. He especially like to go hunting for goanna and honey ants.
